Lawrence Lader wrote the biography of Margaret Sanger in 1955 and wrote the book "Abortion" in 1966 that was frequently cited at the Roe vs. Wade trial. He is a founding chair of the National Abortion Rights Action League and president of the Abortion Rights Mobilization. He has been recognized by women's organizations for the breadth of his work and the depth of his passion.
