This revelatory teaching on the subject of curses is much needed in the arsenal of the believer. 1.0 out of 5 stars Very flimsy and thin: not much use
Not at all what I was expecting - very disappointing. It is little more than a pamphlet, and much of that is just quotes from the dictionary or thesaurus as to the meaning of words. It would OK as a very basic introduction, but nothing more - there is very little depth or substance. There are much better books for the same kind of money. The 'how to fix things' is...

This review is from: Identifying And Breaking Curses (Paperback)
This revelatory teaching on the subject of curses is much needed in the arsenal of the believer. When a person hears mention of the word "curse" one begins to envision witches, warlocks, and sorcerers. This is only one aspect of the origin of curses. In the realm of the spirit, curses are much more intricate. They are often the very fibers of the enemy's attack against the saints of God. Freedom and liberty will be yours as you read this book and obtain an understanding of identifying and breaking curses, not only in your life, but in the lives of others, in our ongoing good fight of faith.

This informative book gives insight and explains why many have not been able to get over the "hump" in life.

4.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional!!, August 16, 2006

This review is from: Identifying And Breaking Curses (Paperback)
This book was a great book to read. It was very easy reading and hard to put down. Me and my siblings, read the book as a project. I am one of seven children. None of us smoke or drink, and we are all Christians. Our dad is a pastor and our mom a foreign missionary. All of us are married except for two of us, and we have a lot of great things going on in our lives. However, as hard as we work and try to take care of our homes (all of us are homeowners and some of us even have rental property), there is still something that's been troubling us and trying to block our progress in some areas. We believe it's generational and this book has helped us a great deal. There were many issues addressed that we were able to identify with. If you are struggling within or within your family, this is great way to start identifying some issues. This is definitely a must have and read. I can read it over and over again.

If you wonder why things seems to repeat themselves and why so much trouble seem to come in your life even if you're walking with God; you may like to investigate this small powerful book. There are a lot of things we take for granted like unconfessed sins, open doors in our past that allow the enemy to keep attacking in our lives. The simple but profound teaching will give you insight if you view it from God's perspective.

5.0 out of 5 stars for the true believer, January 3, 2007

In spite of the nay-sayers, who are some who deny the truth, this is an excellent book for shining light on this subject and exposing what's behind denying the truth.

It would OK as a very basic introduction, but nothing more - there is very little depth or substance. There are much better books for the same kind of money. The 'how to fix things' is pathetic. I think it could have been written in a morning - it's that thin. Waste of money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Promises Much--Delivers Little, July 29, 2011
This small, key word small, book lacks real biblical understanding and depth of coverage of a major subject. Not everything that happens to us is a curse. "It rains on the just and unjust alike." The basic idea that we can somehow break the curses from our ancestors smacks of reincarnation. This error in theology lets the current generation off the hook by attributing everything to our bad, no good ancestors. We are individually accountable for OUR Sin before a thrice Holy God. The concept of praying for strength and wisdom is great, but it does not mean it is all to be directed at curses. Finally, the checklist of "Are You Cursed?" is so broad and void of specifics that Miss Cleo, where ever she is, would love it! The Bible is universally applicable: How do you preach "Health and Wealth" to the people in the Third World? Save your money, time, and confusion by NOT buying this book. If I knew how to get my money back, I would!

I purchased this book to have in our home library and our then nanny picked it up and started reading it at 9:00am that morning and finished it from start to finish that evening. It was a deliverance tool for her no doubt. Thank God for the resources to minister to those at various levels of their spiritual growth.
