This review is from: Identifying Spiders: The New Compact Study Guide and Identifier (Identifying Guide Series) (Hardcover)
Excellent photographs and concise descriptions of appearance and habitat for each species covered; unfortunately, there are significant gaps in the species list. Written with an emphasis on European species, with some specialty North American and Asian species also included.

Children love this book. It is filled with fascinating information on hundreds of species of arachnid. The photographs are astounding. I highly recommend this book for children over the age of 5 through middle school as a good resource for spider study. The photo of the kukulcania arizonica will make your skin crawl!
