An awesome cd - VERY hard to find though....just purchased one from a seller in Switzerland.
It is so similar to Pink Floyd...I'd swear it IS a Pink Floyd album! Is this plain enough?? Just buy it! :)

I havent written a review on AMazon for a while. At first you write reviews on every album you come across. I decided to give it a rest and either do reviews on albums that really disappointed me or ones that totally inspire me. This album gave me a lot of inspiration to share with the world the joys of this magical find. As the previous (And only) reviewer remarked, there are touches of Pink Floyd on this album, most notably the atmospheric Gilmouresque guitar. There are other comparisons too, and it dawned on me only today that perhaps Progressive music is now determined by sounding like numerous other bands of their genre in places, but still maintaining their own identity. How did I come across Airbag? I was listening to Pineapple Thiefs latest EP "Shine a little love" on Itunes whilst Genius was in the background. WHen Genius is in operation it offers other bands that you might like. Names that turned up were Porcupine Tree, Riverside etc and Airbag. I just gave the song "Colours" a sample, and I was immediately hooked. That means something when you can be inspired by 15 seconds of music. Yes, if you like Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Pineapple Thief, Lunatic Soul, Riverside etc you will love this album.
While listening to this album, I am also at times reminded, at times, of snippets of The Cure, Chris Isaac, Moodie Blues, King Crimson but the band I would also closely associate them with are their fellow Norwegian proggers, Gazpacho and especially with their albums "Bravo" and "Tick Tock" (IMHO Their 2 best). As with Gazpacho, it is the beautiful heartfelt soothing lead and harmony vocals that immediately grab your attention and leave you wanting more. As a budding guitarist, it is so inspiring also trying to play along with the lead solos. As with Dave Gilmour, (And BB King even) its not how fast you play and all the tricks etc, but its the feel and obviously also the sound. Thats probably why I'm not too bothered with bands like Dream Theater, Transatlantic etc as its too much about how brilliant and clever a musician I am. It has been a while since a band has really knocked me over (Gazpacho were the ones) and I sincerely urge you to try and get this album whatever way you can as it is hard to come by. It will be worth your trouble. Failing that, go to their home page as they have approx 2 hours worth of fantastic free downloads including live shows, and EP, demos and an awesome version of Pink Floyds Arnold Layne.
Although I totally love every song on this album,the absolute standout tracks are "Steal my Soul" and "Colours". Bands like this should be given wider coverage, so come on Classic Rock Magazine - SPREAD THE WORD.
