5.0 out of 5 stars fehertys foibles
a well written collection of Dave's columns for Golf Magazine. If you love golf get this book. A brillant companion to Dave's "Somewhere In Ireland A Village Is Missing An Idiot"

1.0 out of 5 stars An apt title...
The title tells all you need to know about the babble within. Same tasteless idiot who gets way too much exposure on TV. This is why we have boxes for people to think in...let some people outside the box and it is stream-of-consciousness drivel. Nothing but one attempt after another to get attention by being shocking and tasteless.

5.0 out of 5 stars David Feherty does tremendous work for the troops., July 30, 2009
To Thomas G. Jones and "book buyer" jerk,

Please refrain from commenting on or "reviewing" books that you have not read. Before you soulless robots begin making something out of nothing in an attempt to assassinate the character of someone who devotes a large amount of his time cheering up wounded troops, please let it go. It is not a good idea.

David Feherty brings his unique sense of humor and life experience to these pages. If you want to have an enjoyable, humorus look at golf, and an inside look at the game, take a few hours and read this. You'll be glad you did.

5.0 out of 5 stars More of the best, January 30, 2008
These are his columns on golf. If you have read his earlier book, and enjoyed it, then this is more of the same. Someone who does not take the game too seriously.

Feherty writes as he speaks. This book is great for the golfer and anyone who enjoys sarcasm in his humor.

You might want to consider wearing an adult diaper when reading this book. As you would expect from Feherty, it's pants-wetting hilarious.

I knew that everytime I heard him speak during a golf telecast, he made me want to laugh. I wasn't sure if it would translate to his writing. I guess I figured that it was his accent the caused me to have some kind of twisted Pavlovian reaction every time he spoke. I guess not. The writing consistently made me giggle as well. In fact, a few times, it caused an uncontrollable outburst of laughter. You know something is funny when you are sitting all alone reading and it causes you to laugh out loud hysterically.

I'd love to have a beer with that guy but I'm afraid I'd die laughing or choke on my beer.
