Interesting Bedtime Reading,

This review is from: Idiots at Work: Chronicles of Workplace Stupidity (Paperback)
Do you get those emails about the silly things that people do at work? Basically this is a book that collects silly things that people do at work.
The book is set up with one page anecdotes. Some of them I found funny, some left me rolling my eyes, some did not effect me. To me, the best of this book come from company memos, but there are also a lot of the "a customer calls the help line and asks how to determine if a mouse pad is compatible with his computer." A lot of it is silly things that I've seen before. On the plus side the book is an easy read and did provide me with several smiles and a few laughs.

A hilarious look at the "intelligence" of the some of the people in the workforce. How they stay employed is a mystery to all of us. In reading this book, you will invariably say, "I know that person," or "I have worked with that person."

A chore to read, surprisingly; and the author's unfunny comments after the entries usually only help to kill the joke further. Not one of the better compilations out there. You may want to try Ross & Kathryn Petras' 'The Lexicon of Stupidity' instead.

I have this book in a regular copy and had lost it. So it was wonderful to find that it was available digitally! It's hilarious and will tell you about all sorts of workplace idiots...

This books was so funny. Couldn't imagine some of the scenarios. So profound is the fact that truth is stinger than fiction.

Short sample,
This review is from: Idiots at Work: Chronicles of Workplace Stupidity (Kindle Edition)
Sampled this on Kindle. I have no idea what the book is like, because the sample included only the table of contents with no working links.
Might buy the thing if the price were lower--$1.00 seems about right.

If you can get this for a very small price, okay. Otherwise skip it. It has a few funny things, but in general nothing that is going to really make you LOL. Might be okay to keep in the John to read little snippets while you are on the throne.

Gave it to my brother who enjoys reflecting on the idiocy of others. Said it was just the thing to cheer him up.
