A nicely bound, thick collection of color photographs of porn-stars and wannabies with flawless muscle-bods.

The men Jonathan Black captures are stunning. His photographic skills catch the sublime innocence of his subjects. It truly is a work of art. I'd recommend it to all my friends. Does he have a web site?

Once I owned a copy of Idols, I knew that it was a well-invested book. The models are not "fake." Jonathan Black captures the beauty of each male. The men are gorgeous and to die for. I would recommend this book to girls, guys and all the rest.

Very, very, very nice. A bargain at the price. The pics have appeared before in glossy, "male art" mags, but I am still looking forward for Mr Black's next book.

Jonathan Black's highly successful book Idols is now available in postcard form. Beautiful colour images in an easy pull out book. Great value.

Jonathan Black has produced some of the more richly colorful images of men in this book he aptly titles IDOLS. His approach to the model is one of implied complete trust, as none of these models seem the least bit stiff or posed. There is a relaxed feeling that serves to accentuate the sensuous virility of every one of his carefully selected models. Though the book is small in size (about 7.5 X 5 inches) it is not cramped in detail. The design is clean, allowing for full-page full bleed images of a model with the adjacent page sharing small snapshot like images. The images that are the most successful are the one that make a full two page spread.

Though there are many photography books centered on the male, Jonathan Black adds another dimension to his work: each of the models is identified by name, as if this were a personal album of his best friends. They could easily become the viewers' best friends with a few viewings of this excellent collection. Grady Harp, October 10
