"If 6 was 9" is a phenomenal piece of psychedelic rock from the guitar great himself, Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix sings of "waving his freak flag",and proceeds to go into some powerful riffs. It's blues, it's jazz, and you will be experienced! "If 6 was 9" is a mindblowing rock experience at that.An interesting fact- Hendrix objected to the "Axis: Bold as Love" album art due to his Native American heritage. However,since this album cover was made in the UK,they probably confused his use of "Indian" with their former colony. Still,the album art fits the music. |
