More About the Author

I've always had an interest in the paranormal, despite a rather normal childhood in Brooklyn, NY.

I first 'met' Jason Specter a few years ago when I began to read the stories on his website, scarystatesof america.com. I have to admit I was hooked right away.

It is a good book to intro children into EMS. But any working EMT or paramedic will quickly discover areas that aren't accurate. But it's a children's book so see it for what it is.

We got this book for my son who just turned 3. He was so into ambulances, and this book was PERFECT for him! Well worth it for the price and quality.
