This is such an awesome CD. Cher's album Believe is the one to dance to. This album is the one to sing to. It's been the only CD in my radeo for the past three weeks! It's just song after song after song of great hits to listen/sing to. Gypsies, Tramps, and Theives is my personal favorite. It's well worth getting.

I got this Cd originally as part of a gift order set. I was hesitant at first, because I wasn't really a big Cher fan and knew very little about her older recordings. Since I was born in 1979 and knew very little about Cher as a singer, I always thought that she was an actress who had crossed over into the music buisness.

To my surprise, I fell in love with this CD and take it with me everywhere I go.I have become a full-fledged Cher fan after hearing this CD.

I think that my personal favorites on the album are "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves," "Half-Breed," "Dark Lady," "If I could turn back time" and "Save up all your tears."

I thought that adding " I got you babe " and "The Shoop Shoop Song" was a great bonus, because "Shoop Shoop" was the first Cher song that I really liked as a young girl.

The previously unreleased track " Don't come cryin back to me" is pretty good also.

If I were to recommend the one Cher album to buy, I would recommend this one.

"If I Could Turn Back Time, Cher's Greatest Hits", is one of the best Cher CD's ever. It has most of Cher's songs on it. I highly suggest you buy this CD. I give it a 5 star raiting.

I was recently taken in by Cher's powerful new BELIEVE CD and was curious about some of her past work. I ordered IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME CD and was thoroughly impressed by the mix of song styles and the range of her powerful voice. Some of my favorites on the CD are "Save Up All Your Tears", "Love And Understanding", "Just Like Jesse James", "I Found Someone", "Dark Lady", and the classic "Half Breed" and "Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves". Also really loved the previously unreleased "Don't Come Crying To Me". From listening to this CD and her others, I genuinely "believe" in her work! Great work, Cher!

I remember watching the Sonny and Cher Show as a child growing up in Buffalo, New York. All through the years, Cher has never lost her voice, her looks or her belief's. Not many of us have the courage to continue on the way Cher does. Her music is wonderful and inspiring.

If you want art-go to a museum. This is commercial pop 40 music in all of it's wonderful, singable, love-to-hate-it glory!I mean,can anyone listen to "Half Breed" without singing along? I only wish they had included audio clips from Cher's infomercial days!

Cher has done it all, and she's in no danger of stopping now. This album highlights the 35-year career of one of the hardest woring people in show business. Songs range from campy story-songs ("Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves" and "Dark Lady") to her pop-rock 80s songs, with myriad stops along the way. If you've ever seen Cher perform live, then you know how much fun her music is. And that's what it's all about: fun. Forget about changing the world or important social commentary. Cher wants to have fun and she's happy to take us all along for the ride. Thank you, Cher!

Rumour has it that this version will be discontinued soon. It will be replaced by a new cover with the track "Don't Come Cryin' To Me" removed. This is a great compilation of Cher's more well known hits. It would have been nice to have a few more S&C hits, "One By One" (to represent her mid 90's huge dance hit) and "I Paralyze"(just to represent her early 80's recording) included. I understand why no "Believe" tracks were included because that CD is still churning out the hits. All in all this is a pretty good collection with her absolute greatest chart topping hits. The only complaint is a Cher's Greatest Hits should be about 4 CDs. Keep up the great work. Take us to the next millineum.

Listening to this album brings back lots of memories. Cher has continued to be one of music's most recognizable voices ever since she hit the scene over 30 years ago. Through all the scandal and controvesy, Cher has gone on to become one of music's best vocalist. On this album, we relive the magic and wonder of Cher's incredible carrer. All of her old classics are her inculding the song that started it all, I Got You Babe, the duet with the late Sunny Bono. Also featured on the album is her disco smash Take Me Home,the classic It's In His Kiss, and her powerful duet with Peter Cetera, After All. Cher's most impressive songs are coincidently written by Diane Warren. If I Could Turn Back Time and Love and Understanding is some of Warren's best work and together with Cher, they make an amazing team. All and All, Cher's greatest hit's will ensure that her legacy lives on for another four decades to come!!!!!

This is a really great CD. My neighbor introduced me to Cher earlyer this year and now she's one of my favorites. "Gypsys, Tramps, and Thieves" is a really cool song... I could listen to it over and over again. I would recomend this CD to anyone who doesn't like being bored.
