I stumbled upon "If I Ever Lose This Heaven," from Quincy Jones' BODY HEAT album, and features Leon Ware, Al Jarreau and Minnie Riperton. It is at once smooth, harmonious and so darn sexy. The wailing horn section is awesome, and the contribution of the late, great Minnie Riperton and Leon Ware sounds amazing. The combination of haunting lyrics and soaring vocals make for a wonderful (nearly) five minute trip to heaven and back......This song and album need to be re-released and re-introduced to the public.
