I initially stumbled across this book at a library and it was good enough to track down and own. Milne has a gentle English wit that consistently makes me chuckle. His humorous essay on the nature of Christmas cards is right on the money and his description of cutting the quail pie at the dinner party made me laugh out loud. He must have been a fun person to know.
