This book by Dr.Schuller, was one of the best books that I have read. After reading the book, it changed my way of thinking. I was a negative thinker. I highly recomend it to anyone. I Thank God for Dr.Schuller and all of his books! I especially like Dr.Schullers testimonies. He didn't just write the words, he has lived them and has examples of other people. Thank You Dr.Schuller for writting this. It really helped me.

This was a life changing book for me! I read this after becoming a widow at the age of 29 with 2 young daughters ages 2 and 7!! This was not a morning type book but this book was responsible for a wonderful turning point in my life. I have purchsed many more for my friends. I read this book, I guess when it came out but not sure the year but many years ago. I can tell you now that this year both of my girls are graduating from College and High School the same school year! My 7 year old is now A College Grad with 2 Bachelors Degrees which she received in 4 years! Both girls have been a blessing and not a moments trouble and with this book I was able to learn quickly of the blessings that I have left and not what I lost! You will not regret reading this book, or any of Dr Schuller's books for that matter! God is very faithful and I am blessed!

bestseller that was read by the author . . . it describes how to tap into
your own dynamic divine energy by following these eight steps that
are designed to lead to personal success:

Possibilities must be weighed,
Then priorities must be swayed,
New plans must be laid,
And commitments must be made.

The price must be paid,
The timing may be delayed,
But the course must be stayed,
And the trumpets will be played.

Schuller bases much of what he write about on what he calls Possibility
Thinking; i.e., If you can dream it, you can do it!

He makes you believe in this concept, too, as result of his own
experiences--many of which he shares in the book . . . in addition,
I also liked his use of real-life success stories of people from every
walk of life.

If you're like me, you'll be "sold" on his message that comes across
on nearly every page . . . yet be forewarned: if you're skeptical
that any of this stuff can and does work, then don't bother
with reading this or anything else by Schuller.

This was the second book of Dr.Schullers that I had read. I came to his ministry in 1997. When I read this book, it changed my way of thinking and my faith in Christ and my belief about myself. This was one of the most powerfull books I have ever read. It greatly influenced me. In this book, Dr.Schuller talks about how to live succesfully as a christian through the 8 proven principals of possibility thinking that he has learned and lived through. It's a self help book through moativation by Jesus Christ. Anyone who knows Dr.Schuller and his ministry knows where he is coming from. Anyone who isnt famliar with him, I encourage you to pick up the book and read it. I also encourage young people to read this book. If I would have had this when I was younger, I would have been more determined and optimistic and stronger about myself. At least I have read it now. It's well worth buying. Thank God for Dr.Schuller!

It's amazing having read a couple of reviews of this book in this section that folks keep bashing old Dr. Schuller. His positive philosophy on life is still misunderstood even 50 years after the founding of his incredible God given ministry. Schuller, like Norman Vincent Peale before him, has been unswerving in his belief in positive Christianity. It's wierd that anytime "I" or "You" are injected into the conversation, the critics immediately go hog wild in their "It's not Biblical critique". Anyone who integrates age old truths with psychology is branded as some sort of new ager or pop psychologist.
In this book, Robert Schuller recognizes the only way that God can work in our lives is through us. So, we must act on our God given dreams and ideas. Those ideas are tested in the light of God's Word. The result is God's. I'm so sick and tired of hearing how we should just sit back and wait for God to bless us. God uses people, creation, things, anything he wants to get things done. He doesn't always come in a burning bush or a talking donkey. We need to be real about changing, and maturing. And this book is a blue print for that concept. Robert Schuller and sons have helped many understand that God is real, God is love, and God is active in the lives of those who act on His Word and the ideas He puts in their hearts. It's hard to argue with 50 years of changed lives. Robert H. Schuller is a man who always gives Jesus the credit first.

Many years after having read this, I used the book title today as an expression to get across what it means to make something happen; in your life and with others. The fundemantal truth here has remained with me and I suspect may until I die. That is how powerful and transformational Dr Schuler's message is. It will tap you into the highest power and allow you to grow in it.

As we all know, we have the power to rule ourselves. This being said, what are we waiting for? Maybe we are waiting for our rich uncle to die and leave us a million bucks. Well, keep dreaming, it probably won't happen. If it does happen, will we be any better at taking charge of our lives? Probably not!

Well the time is right to begin our long journey that lies ahead. This journey is the road that our lives follows.

As children, our paraents did everything for us, but as adults we seem to have a hard time making decisions about our lives. We seem to be waitning for some kind of push.

It's time we jump start our lives like this book suggests and try to make something happen in our lives. We need to learn how to motivate our selves to do bigger and better things.

I think this book can make a difference if we will read it and try to live by it. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK

Robert Schuller has given us a blueprint for success in this tape. It can also be heard as a blueprint for spiritual wellness. Each of us has a purpose to fulfill that leads us beyond ourselves. Following our soul's purpose takes us out of our ego and into the realm of spirit where unlimited possibilities await us. This tape outlines 8 steps toward the fulfillment of our dreams. They are practical steps coming from a man who has lived and continues to live out an inspirational life. Dr. Schuller paints a wonderful picture of how the power of accomplishing our dreams lies at the center of our experience-ourselves. He structures a very easily understood and powerful plan to accomplish great things. A very positive tool!

I admit I'm a big fan of Dr. Schuller. His gift of communication is one that has enhanced the quality of my life on numerous occasions. Consider, for example, what he writes about growth, "Every new possiblity pursued with passion changes the hunter somehow, someway." In other words, the process of overcoming challenges changes us!

He views problems in a creative, healthy way. He writes, "In reality, every problem is only a decision waiting to be made." The principles he describes are inclusive, he notes "Every person has been created to be creative."

We're encouraged to celebrate our uniqueness. He advises, "Detect, discover, and take direction from your uniqueness." Prayer is viewed as a vital part of the process of achieving significant goals. As one prays and asks God for guidance, by faith it is received.

Dr. Schuller sees ideas as living things. He says "Every truly great idea has a life of its own." He goes to describe how a Renaissance thinker will cultivate worthwhile ideas of creativity.

This is another wonderful book by one of my favorite authors. His words will inspire and motivate you to do more and be more than you are now. It's a delightful, playful, productive process he's describing that leads to enriched living.
