Heart breaking ghost, not spooky one,

Beautifully written story that focusses on a middle aged couple living a predictable and passionless life. Suddenly the wife begins to see a vision of a little boy who needs her help, though she doesn't know how to give it. Once her husband is told about the ghost he has to make a decision, should he support her or dismiss her? A very enjoyable relationship read, and while the little ghost boy was in obvious distress, his death is avenged.
