Princess School: If the Shoe Fits,
By ;) "Bex" (Oakville, ON) - See all my reviews
This review is from: If the Shoe Fits (Princess School, Book 1) (Paperback)
I'm 16 and loved this book. My sister (age 10) was reading it and the title caught yy eye so I picked it up. It's really cute and it stresses great values such as indiviuality and friendship. I found that this book made the princesses more like real girls and gives them the opportunity to relate to them better. It was good and I recommend it really for anyone who is a princess at heart.

True, Not Just 4 Kids,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: If the Shoe Fits (Princess School, Book 1) (Paperback)
This book is so good. I'm 12, almost 13, but I like reading fantasy books. I found this book in my school computer lab and started reading it. I hope to read the others. It looks like a book for 6 years old, but it's not. It's great for all ages!
This book is about a girl, Cinderella, who has to deal with her evil stepsisters and stepmother while attending a school, called Princess School. Her two stepsisters attend the school and try to make her life and her classmates' a living hell. Luckily, she meets 3 other girls, Snow, Rapunzel, and Rose, who are the only nice girls from her class. They help her get through her classes while Ella must do all the dirty work at home. Plus, I love the ending!

Familiar Princesses with a twist!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: If the Shoe Fits (Princess School, Book 1) (Paperback)
This was an awesome book. Like most people, i wish Ella was brunette. I guess disney made her blonde in the movie. My favorite character is Rose, though. They didn't have a whole ton of her. I've read the first three books, but I've started the fourth. When i picked it up, i though i was too old to read it, but i was wrong. It's great for all ages!

The Best One,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Princess School(Let Your Hair Down) (Paperback)
I've read every book in the series and am impatient for 'Thorn in Her Side'. This one is my favourite because Rapunzel's my favourite out of the four girls, and it has a lot of Val/Rapunzel moments. :-)

Awesome,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: If the Shoe Fits (Princess School, Book 1) (Paperback)
I am 9 (about to turn 10).I bought this book at a book fair at school. Mainly because I was out of money. I never knew it would be this awesome and I would read it over so many times. I am going for the rest of the series. If you are buying a book for a child I think this book would be a wonderful choice.

Not just For Kids,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: If the Shoe Fits (Princess School, Book 1) (Paperback)
I'm almost 13, but when I caught sight of this book, and picked it up to look at, I fell in love with it. Its adorable and kawaii, I think even teens could read it. It was a quick read, sure, but that won't stop me from buying the rest of the series!
But one comment-Ella's hair should be brown.

My daughter (age 7) and I had so much fun reading this story of snow white, cinderella, sleeping beauty and rapunzel- the girls rocked! They fought back, had bad hair days, dealt with sorta normal issues and felt insecure, grumpy, and scared. Just like us! They fought hard, rose above the issues and became happy. That's the stuff!

Okay, I'm nowhere NEAR being a teen anymore, but when I was one I thought princesses were wimps. Since then I've come to believe there's more to them than Grimm's fairy tales let on, and these authors think so too! If the Shoe Fits was a delightful story of friendship in the tradition of Into the Woods -- where they all share the same world -- and slightly reminiscent of Harry Potter's school adventures as well. I laughed out loud at the dreadful danger of peas...! It's well-written, funny and sharp with lovable and interesting characters.I reccomend this book to anyone who loves princess stories and believes in friendship. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

The Shoe does fit for any princess lover!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: If the Shoe Fits (Princess School, Book 1) (Paperback)
This was a great book because it takes some of the best known fairy tales and gives them a twist. It takes familiar princesses and gives them a new perspective. I have read all three and can't wait for the fourth one to come out. These books can be for any age as long as you like princesses.
