5.0 out of 5 stars Do not listen to this album!!!!, December 7, 2009

If you do, your head will explode. The fast, driving guitar is key. This is not speed for speed's sake. It is masterful playing that is woven into well structured and well written music. Think middle Rush with a modern sound and a slightly metal mentality. I mention the mindset of the music because it is some what dark and somber (a mood masterfully portrayed with out a single lyric). The music will rise and fall through subtle slow passages and driving crescendos. As you listen, you will make it through the first crescendo, happy for the reprieve, but then you will hear the echoes of the next peak, your pulse will quicken. As the music rises and the guitar quickens so will your heart rate. Your blood pressure will increase to the point that the vessels inside your ears will begin to bleed. As the music continues on its rise, your blood pressure will rise as well until it is released by blowing the top of your head off. Luckily the EMTs were able to find most of the pieces of my head and sew me back together with only the small side effect of a slight facial tick, tick, tick...

Extremely highly recommended, but not for the faint at heart.

5.0 out of 5 stars Didn't know what I found but I love it, January 29, 2012

I first learned about this band and really this genre of music from a video game trailer. The trailer for Infamous on the PS3 used a piece of the first and last parts of Malabar Front. My affection for that game aside I really enjoyed the music and someone posted the name of the band. I thought it was just a really inspired instrumental piece made by some guy working for an ad agency, not an actual band. I did my digging online and I must admit that my eyes were opened. From beginning to end this album is excellent and a real pleasure of mine to listen to.
