If This Isn't Jennifer,

To be honest with you, there just haven't been many great R&B songs that have came out this past year. For acts like Beyonce' and Ciara, whom have had albums that have been dissapointments that haven't delivered the heart and soul we should've expected. For Jennifer Hudson who has a very strong voice, she still has a lot to prove for herself too. After losing her mom, and other family members in that horrific shooting spree in Chicago last year, she still has a strong head on her shoulders, and has kept that faith alive. For her latest single though, If This Isn't Love, the long-awaited second single from her debut album, isn't as strong as was the case with her breakout song Spotlight, but honestly could've been a bit better. It isn't a bad song, but just could've been stronger. I do hope though for Jennifer, her next single can be better.Song: C |
