Maino's 2nd album is another solid 4 star one,

This review is from: If Tomorrow Comes (Audio CD)
9 months since his debut "The One And Only" (also a strong 4 star album), Maino returns with another solid album. This one has a little more commercial appeal to it, but he still has his street tracks and nice delivery, that made me like him when I first heard him back in 2005 on some mixtapes. This one has 14 songs, 2 are classics, 3 are ok, the other 9 are good, a few being real good songs. You get deep songs, some street gangsta/hustling tales, and a few radio friendly one's on here. Guests aren't too heavy, rapping on 2 songs and doing the hook on about 5. Production is pretty good as well. GQ Beats, Versatile & Dilemma, Mista Raja all do 2 songs, Swizz Beats, Da Beatstaz, Blast Off, Just BLaze, Justice LEague, Mush Milllions, Chris Styles, Charlemagne all do 1 song. A nice album to have from a very talented rapper.
#1 - 8.5 (f/ Swizz Beats -- upbeat track) #3 - 9 (f/ Push Montana -- nice beat) #4 - 8.5 (f/ Bradd Young) #5 - 9 (f/ BG -- nice beat) #7 - 7 (f/ T-Pain) #8 - 8 #10 - 8 #11 - 6 #12 - 8.5 #14 - 9 #15 - 7.5 #16 - 8 (f/ Trey Songs) #17 - 10 (CLASSIC -- deeper song with tight beat) #19 - 10 (CLASSIC -- great beat -- f/ Jimmy Starnes) Jermaine Coleman -- Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, NY Check all my reviews

Breath of new life into a uncreative rap world,
This review is from: If Tomorrow Comes (Audio CD)
This CD is set up as if your watching a movie and it paints the picture of what he's going threw and trying to get across to the listener brilliantly. Not to menchine the actual music is great he has a nice flow and his lyrics are far better than the lazy things floating threw the airwaves nowadays. I recomend this cd strongly and I've been waiting for it for a while now since I've heard a few of Maino's mixtapes. Go get this cd or order it you won't be dissapointed.
P.S. Rest in peace to the King of pop Michael Jackson !!!!

I've been following Maino since his mixtape days, trying to come up dissing all the stars. Sounds cliche, but he was original, fearless, and funny. Anyway, I'm glad to see him finally get recognition after all these years. I usually don't buy cd's, but in this case I had to make an exception. I would recommend it to anyone who supports the real artists in hip hop. Considering there are only a few left. I know I didn't get into the album itself, but in short it's a solid cd.

I first heard about Maino on The naked truth album by Lil'Kim.He was on the track Gimme that. After that song I haven't heard a lot about him.A few months ago I started to look after him on the net and I found out about his mixtapes and videos.I loved Hi hater, the remix of it and All the above.Because of these tracks I wanted to get his album as soon as possible.I ordered it from amazon on the 1st week of it's release. It's an amazing album. All the tracks are great.Good storytelling in all the song, great beats and I don't miss the featuring artists.Favourite tracks for me are (beside the singles)Back to life,Remember my name and Here comes trouble. If U like hip-hop this is a must have in my opinion. If U liked the singles U have to buy this cd.I hope he will have a lot of success with this. And I can't wait to hear his next albums.
Once again great beats,great lyrics,great album.Well done,Maino!

I like to listen to the Hip-Hop station on Sirius radio when I am driving to get a heads up on some of the new artist & releases. I happened to catch it one afternoon as they were discussing Maino and the quality of his music. On their recommendation, I purchased it on its drop date and I have to say I really enjoy this CD from start to finish. I do feel he speaks a bit much on some of the tracks but still, a nice CD to pop into the player & ride to.

Great Music buuuut Million Bucks cuts off :(,
This review is from: If Tomorrow Comes... (Explicit) (MP3 Download)
My faves off the album are 'Million Bucks', 'All the Above', and 'Hi Hater'. I downloaded the singles and 'Million Bucks' ends abruptly like it was cut off :( Way to go Amazon.

Maino isn't a Nas or Jay type rapper, but this CD is dope,
By
This review is from: If Tomorrow Comes (Audio CD)
If you are looking for a good cd through and through this is it. Maino is a rapper that is just telling it like it is, through his eyes, over dope beats. Listeners looking for a lyrical showcase, this isn't for you. But if you are just looking for good music then this is a dope cd...My favorite cuts were Gangsta, Remember My Name, All the Above
