Book Description

January 1986
One of Sidney Sheldon's most popular and bestselling titles, repackaged and reissued for a new generation of fans. Tracy Whitey is on top of the world. Young, beautiful, intelligent, she is about to marry into wealth and glamour -- until, betrayed by her own innocence, she finds herself in prison, framed by a ruthless mafia gang and abandoned by the man she loves. Beaten and broken, but surviving with her dazzling ingenuity, Tracy emerges from her savage ordeal -- determined to avenge those who have destroyed her life. Her thirst for revenge takes her from New Orleans to London, from Paris to Madrid and Amsterdam. Tracy is playing for the highest stakes in a deadly game. Only one man can challenge her -- he's handsome, persuasive and every bit as daring. Only one man can stop her -- an evil genius whose only hope of salvation is in Tracy's destruction! Sidney Sheldon is one of the most popular storytellers in the world. This is one of his best-loved novels, a compulsively readable thriller, packed with suspense, intrigue and passion. It will recruit a new generation of fans to his writing.

5.0 out of 5 stars If Tomorrow Comes, May 14, 2003
This review is from: If Tomorrow Comes (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the book that started my love for Sidney Sheldon. I first read it about 10 years ago and make it a point to re-read it whenever I'm bored with other books. This book is great!! The minute you begin reading it you become absorbed in the main character's life. Tracy is a wonderfully strong, brilliant, sexy, and determined leading lady. You'll find yourself cheering for her through all the exciting adventures she gets herself into. It's a story of love, vengence, retribution, and self-discovery. A MUST READ for anyone who loves a good book!

4.0 out of 5 stars I'll be coming back for more, April 19, 2001
This the first book by Sidney Sheldon that I have read and I will certainly be reading more. If Tomorrow Comes tells the tale of a woman scorned. Wrongfully sent to jail and left by her fiance.. Tracy decides to get even on her release. One by one she goes after the people who have wronged her. No longer the victim she comes to enjoy the thrill of the scam and goes off on an amazing life of crime. This story is an adventure so go along for the ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars The real page turner, September 8, 2004
By
This is my most favourite novel of Sidney Sheldon.Tracy Whitney , by far is Sheldon's most brave heroine of all his novels, who fights all suicidal situations of life. The reader's travel through tracy's situations is exciting and keeps the readers on the edge. The transformation of an ordinary working women into most intelligent and cunning burglar is quite interesting. And no one will ever forget Tracy Whitney after closing the book. A must for all Sheldon fans..!!!
