I downloaded and now i-tunes can't locate the file. So I payed for nothing at all. I can not find anyway to redownload the file. Jen

Yes, some of Brit's new music is trashy (looks at 3) or trash (also looks at 3) but this one is tolerable.

Plus, watching the video enhances it. I love the bridge where she comes out looking like an upper class Marilyn Monroe.

To get down to the lyrics though, Britney's saying "don't hate me" while saying that all of the boys and girls want her in bed.

Obviously, we all know that by now but the video plays sometimes at MTV Hits so I thought I'd put my own review in for it.

Nothing compared to 'Baby One More Time' but it's still catchy with the la la la, la la la la la's and the "Oh, say what you want about me" parts.

3.5 stars.

Presenting her best song since Toxic, Britney Spears never fails to surprise me with the next outrageous thing she's going to do next. In this case, the title/chorus could be attributed to Britney spelling that pesky F-word. In fact, I've heard censors that cut that whole section of the chorus out... Kind of ridiculous, but contrevorsy aside, this song is insanely catchy. Whether that's a good thing or not, make your own decision, Britney puts up a pretty decent effort here.

"If U Seek Amy" will be released as the third single from Britney Spears' new #1 album "Circus", reportedly in early March. The music video started filming on February 10th, and in it, Britney plays a sexy '50's housewife.
Parents are outraged over the song, saying that the chorus sounds like "all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to f-u-c-k me", but Britney's fans are backfiring saying that parents should have the common sense not to buy their young kids a Brtney Spears album.
But despite protests from Britney's fans and her management, radio stations will edit the song and release it as "If U See Amy" instead, as to cut out the supposed "dirty word".
Overall, "If U Seek Amy" is my favorite off of her new album "Circus". I love the song- it is fun, catchy, unique, and clever. Any Britney fan will fall in love with it, and even people who don't like her will find it hard to get the chorus out of their head!

When it has came down to Britney Spears the past few years, it is really hard to tell whether she is back on track smelling like a rose, or having another mental breakdown. Unfortunately her latest single doesn/t really show she has the appeal she has shown either. If U Seek Amy, the 3rd single from her lackluster album Circus feels like a paperweight in the the mind, and not in the soul of the voice. I found the song to be less appealing even with the spotlight going towards others like Rihanna and I Kissed A Girl maven Katy Perry. She hasn't shown she has the beat back, and unfortunately, neither does this song. So if you really are seeking Amy, tell her to listen to something else.

This is Britney's fourth single for her album circus. This song says "If you seek Amy", but clearly means F-U-C-K me. It is one of the better songs on her album. People need to get over the whole lyrics double meaning thing. It's an awesome song.

"If U Seek Amy" is Britney Spears' latest "naughty" song. Some parents have argued that if you follow the title closely (and it's the chorus too),it's Brit using bad words. But are the kids THAT bright? It's not like they're doing word puzzles with Will Shortz on NPR.

"If U Seek Amy" is about "how all the boys and all the girls want to be with Amy." She even uses the Christmas carol refrain of "do you see what I see?" It's got a good beat,but other than that,it's lousy disposable bubblegum pop.

Hidden message of nothing but truth lying beneath a fierce beat and a seductive set of rushed la la la la's. Just the fact of it being so cleverly titled makes this song amazing, aside from the storyline it follows of looking for an alleged `Amy' yet displaying the views she holds of herself. This track speaks nothing but the truth, no matter what goes on, Britney will always be at the top of her game, regardless if its some crazy rumor, an album out, she will always succeed at it, just look how Blackout was released at her worse and still was well received and has even been labeled as the best album in her career for crossing over to a new sound and taking pop to a different level. Love her, hate her, she'll always be the amazing entertainer she is, and, well, we all must admit, we all want to "seek Amy" with her.

This song it's so funny! You can hear how Britney make fun of everybody. She's not a Mariah Carey and she don't care. All the media wants to see her fall but Britney allways go to the right direction in her albums. Be carefull Katy Perry, Britney and Amy are two bitches waiting for her close up.

It was rumored that this is the next single from Circus so I bought it. I loved it, I hope it is the next single.
