Catchy, Upbeat Single, November 1, 2005
"If You Come To Me" was the lead single taken from Atomic Kitten's third and final album, 2003's "Ladies Night." It's an infectious mid-tempo track about love that features all three girls (Natasha Hamilton, Jenny Frost and Elizabeth McClarnon) throughout the song, rather than having one primary singer.
The best part of the song is the chorus, which is actually longer than the verses - if you don't count the bridge that Jenny sings. The lyrics are sung at a faster pace, and that's what makes the song so catchy. I especially like the outro where the chorus is layered with ad-libs from all the girls. This is one of my favourite tracks on the "Ladies Night" album.
The B-Sides are "Feels So Good," the title track of their 2002 album and "So Right" which was penned by Natasha Hamilton. "Feels So Good" is a catchy, dancable pop song co-written by Kylie Minogue (presumably for her 2000 "Light Years" album) and Steve Anderson. Steve Anderson produced this upbeat pop track, which is the best song on the "Feels So Good" album. I don't understand why Atomic Kitten did not release that song as a single, but it is one of their signature songs nonetheless.
"So Right" is a mid-tempo ballad about a romance that is just beginning, and stands out as one of Atomic Kitten's better B-sides. The song would later be added to the 2005 Asia-only compilation of remixes and B-sides called "Access All Areas."
