1.0 out of 5 stars not sure what the other readers got out of this book?
Okay so let me say this first, this book was great in the begining and lacked luster and momentum in the middle and end. It was not realistic and near border line silly. Not sure i like the orphan spin being that realism is no longer a fact.further more the sex lacked a real umph. et cetera. i have yet to read any other books by Yahrah and i hope in the near future the...

Third installment of Yahrah's Orphan series. This is the Sassy Sage story. Sage the woman who work 70 to 80 hrs who is a tiger in the court room but when it come to her love life she doesn't have time UNTIL..........HUMMMMMMM

The law firm wanted to convince Ian Lawrence to hire their firm to represent him but the lawyer need someone to talk to him, and low an behold Sage voluteer, little did she know that it wasn't going to be a easy as she thought.

There first meeting was not what she expected but boy when they meet it stir up a lot of emotion for Sage it has been a long time. Ian was just the man to break down the wall around Sage heart.

Ian Lawrence is a man who is know as being a ladies man but get what he want and he want Sage. He was very impress during there first meeting which when she first saw him he was NUDE and he is a man who is not shame at all. This was a great story and it was good to see Sage fall in love. Ian had to learn that falling in love is wonderful if it is with the right person.

You will enjoy this installment of the latest series and I can't wait for Dante story which will be coming out in Jan. 2011. If you haven't read the other books in the series please do so. Book 1 - This Time For Real (Malik & Peyton), Book 2 - Playing for Keeps (Quentin & Avery).

Smooches

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this book, August 21, 2010
This review is from: If You So Desire (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This was my first by Yahrah St. John, at first it was the cover that grabbed my attention, I went to her website & read the excerpt, I knew then that I had to buy this book, Ian & Sage were hot, romantic, funny, all the ingredients that makes a really good romance novel. This is a keeper, I can't wait to read Dante's story, due Jan. 2011.

4.0 out of 5 stars I soooo desire....., September 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I believe I read this book out of sequence. However, it was so much better than "Playing for Keeps" the first book in the Orphan series. I did not like that book because of the unrealistic elements (highlight the "did not like"). I also had to skip over parts in this book when it referenced the characters in the first book. (I just didn't like the heroine "Avery", she made my skin crawl).

Other than my aversion to the update on the previous characters, I really enjoyed this book. I started late Friday night and was finished by Saturday morning.

5.0 out of 5 stars And the playboy goes down, January 7, 2011

Your can't help but to swoon over Ian's character. Any woman would loved to be wined and lavished with wonderful gifts and trips, but you never would have thought Sage would be one of them. That came as a great surprise. I was happy that Sage was able to make Ian see the light and hang up his players card. I love how Ms. St. Johns books are not all the same. I mean we know these are romance novels, and the characters will fall in love in the end, but the journey is always different in her stories. I really like this one.

This review is from: If You So Desire (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This story was a breath of fresh air. Excellent writing, a wonderful story, and well development characters help make this book a winner.

Ian Lawrence is a handsome media mogul who believes in having short affairs. He has commitment issues so when his love interest demands more, he releases her. This rich, gorgeous playboy has never had to work for companionship until he meets Sage Anderson. Sage is a beautiful dedicated attorney with no love life. She has been hurt in the past and refuses to be hurt again. So when Lawrence pursues her relentlessly she attempts to deny him until she can't any longer.

I loved these characters. Ian was so arrogate yet confident. This book was a good quick read. Once you start you will not want to put it down until you are done.

I enjoyed this book, love the heroine small chick doing it for herself, quite bold. was pissed that she was settling, no one should be used for sex just like that so was happy when she came to her senses that she wanted more and darn it she deserved it. i need to get my hands on the other stories cos this was a great read. finished in a short time and went back and read a few pages. anytime i go back n read means i loved it that much. go on get t his its a keeper

5.0 out of 5 stars So Good!, September 6, 2010
The connection with Brice and Naomi was instant and it sizzled through the entire book. The story was fast paced and well researched without being boring. This story was truly an exciting roller coaster ride. I really hope that this isn't the last we hear of Trevor, jerk that he was to Naomi, I would love to know his story.
