For those of you who did not purchase your US copies of the new album in a certain store to get a bonus single, or in Canada & possibly worldwide to get another bonus single, FEAR NOT. Both songs are included on this CD5! Besides the lovely duet with Vince Gill of IF YOU EVER LEAVE ME, and AT THE SAME TIME, from Higher Ground, the two additional songs recorded during the A LOVE LIKE YOURS sessions are here....Just Because and Let's Start Right Now. Why they just weren't part of the album I'll never know. Both are just as lovely as the rest of what Barbra has given us in this luscious love session. Just Because is a very sweet song and reminds me of some of her 70's album tracks. Let's Start Right Now has a flare of an Ellington-style classic and done in a slow jazz-pop style that is way to good not to play over and over. Streisand fans and others who want more that A LOVE LIKE OURS will get the balance here and will not be disappointed at all!! Grab it before it's gone, as you know how long these CD5's last.

The bonus songs JUST BECAUSE and LET'S START RIGHT NOW are the reason to buy this CD. I actually like the Vince Gill/Streisand duet, too, which is how Columbia is marketing the disc. But for this Streisand fan, the two new songs are too much of a lure to stay away from!

JUST BECAUSE is a simple song -- the lyrics basically saying that she likes everything her man does "just because". But Barbra sings it well, and I like the arrangement.

LET'S START RIGHT NOW is my favorite of the two. It has a pretty melody and plays like an old fashioned love song with trumpet solo and easy tempo. I like this one a lot: a nice slow-dance song!

I'm grateful that these songs, cut from the LOVE LIKE OURS album, have made it onto this disc (along with AT THE SAME TIME from the HIGHER GROUND album). Thanks Barbra!

Definitely worth the buy. Streisand fans hardly get the fun to get "B" sides, outtakes from Barbra's albums, so this is a double treat. Besides the duet, the two extra songs not included on "A Love Like Ours" are good and in the same vein ot the album. "Just Because" is very very sweet & "Lets Start Right Now" is more classical in its approach, laid back, Ellington style. Both well arranged. Also Barbra's vocals are very relaxed, not forced. If these songs had appeared on the album, it probably would have made it to long - but a shame not everyone will hear them.
