Used this cooler twice just to make sure how bad it was. Pre-cooled drinks + 60 lbs of ice = about 60 hours. It claims it can keep ice for 5 days at 90 degrees - not even close. I kept this in the shade the entire time and had to go searching for ice on the second day of a 4 day fishing trip, then had to reload ice before heading home. The little lid on top is nice, but it is not insulated and it holds condensed water inside. I hope this is not indicative of the Igloo brand. I gave it a try, but I had to return it and trade up to another Coleman.

This is a great cooler if you want to keep pumping a ton of money into replacement parts. We are just two adults using this cooler. The latches lasted 2 camping trips and then had to be replaced. We have used it only several more times and both latches are in need of being replaced again. To top it off the handle actually snapped in two when the cooler was lifted causing everything in it to get spilled and eggs broken. I feel that a 100 quart cooler should have strong handles. I guess paying $100+ for a cooler does not mean you will get any quality. This will be the last Igloo product I will purchase and I will tell everyone one I can about this.

Customer service was not very helpful and was rude in the process. I called about the latches and was very rudly told that I could buy some on the internet even though the cooler was still under warrenty. When I really got upset about it she grudgingly told me she would send two latches but that it would be a one time only thing and not to call back about it again. When the latches broke again and the handle also broke I decided to write this review.

I purchased the same cooler at the local Wal Mart for less than 1/2 this price. It does work well, and kept ice for three days in our rather warm south Georgia.
