I’ve found that they are compatible with pretty much all touchscreen smartphones. Only the thumb, pointer, and middle fingers are interwoven with this conductive material, which is enough considering most people don’t use their ring finger or pinky to access their phones. Since both gloves are interchangeable, that means that these gloves work for both right-handed and left-handed people.
The material is knitted yarn and is soft and comfortable. It’s a one-size-fits-most glove, meaning it fits the average person’s hand. It might be tight if you have large hands or loose if your hands are too small. I usually wear medium gloves, and these fit me fine.
One thing I realized when trying to use my phone with the gloves on is that the fingertips of the gloves are pretty bulky. It seems the knitting was finished at the fingers, which means that the seams get in the way of being able to use your phone/tablet effectively. Because of this, I have to angle my fingers in a way that the seam isn’t blocking my fingers from touching the phone—I end up having to press harder through the glove in order to type on the screen.
These gloves are made for cool and chilly days and are not meant to take the place of snow gloves. I think many of these 1-star negative reviewers are mistaking the function of these gloves. Sure, they could be knit better with the seams situated at a more appropriate place, but they certainly aren’t a 1-star product. They still serve their purpose and keep your hands warm.
The gloves are very well made; there were no loose threads in the gloves. They also fit well. I would have preferred not to have the logo on the side of the glove. A tag on the inside would have sufficed in my opinion. Overall, I really like the gloves. They are worth a try if you’re looking gloves that work with touchscreens.
I received these gloves at a discount in order to test and provide an honest review.
