Greg Cajete wrote this in '99 and it is some of his best, and is easy to read and enjoy. If more people taught with these methods, more children and adults would have a greater knowledge of the world and place we live in. Adds a delightful reality and groundedness to the learning experience, and allows for all learning styles. A must read for any educator.
