Favorite Firebird,

I'm afraid I don't have the technical depth in classical music to esplain why, but this is my favorite recording of the Firebird. I have listened to a lot of classical music, but have no training, so while I don't know why I like one thing better than another, I know what I like.I also own the Leonard Bernstein/Israel Philharmonic, which I find passionless. By contrast this recording is full of life, and has the amazing depth of sound I associate with good digital recording. I listen to it when I need inspiration to rise from my own ashes and start anew. This recording is one of my favorite pieces of classical music.
