There Goes the Bride...,
By Horseshoe Head "HSH" (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: (Ii) (Audio CD)
Warning! Upon listening to this album, your ears are guarenteed to burst forth with a fountain of brain fluid! If "B.O.N.N. Apetite" was a dust storm of Tonka trucks, this is a cyclone of bulldozers. My God man! These girls are just plain crazy! The mayhem that faded off into the sunrise of their last album is repeated here, but with more sunken eyeballs and severed cerebrums. Their first album had hints and flashes of coherence. This one has absolutely none and it is beautiful. You probably will not be able to listen to this CD all the way through the first time, but give it a chance, let it breathe and open it's eyes, and it will find a place inside of your already twisted heart. Granted, it will be a small, dark place with plenty of thorn bushes, but a place nonetheless. If you are a fan of noise and audio slaughter, this is a must have. If you are a fan of conventional bubblegum slop, buy it for your younger sister (you may not understand it, but she will and she will thank you for it.) As all good things eventually do, the Bride was dismembered after this CD and her body parts were found all along the roadside of Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs. They were incredible artists with a very smeared and nauseating vision and they will, and should, be missed.Rest in Peace Bride of No No.
