Beautifully Earthy and Sensuous,

Love it. When first applied, I get a predominantly 'minty' aroma. Wait for the 'dry-down.' Wonderfully rich, earthy aroma of patchouli abounds, minus any 'camphor-like' or 'medicine-y' smell that patchouli sometimes has. But not made 'nice' by an abundance of floral aroma or musk or vanilla. It is sweetened by a bit of a spicy smell somewhat like cinnamon. You definitely need to be a lover of the earthy/mossy/woody aromas to like this. Yet I didn't find it overpowering or too masculine. For patchouli lovers, try a little sample and see if you like it. I definitely do!

I dont know if the perfume was bad or if its just nasty but the bottle I received smelled like old pipe tobacco. I am a connoisseur of patchouli fragrances and this smelled horrible. When I contacted Parum1 in New York they were rude(to say the least) and very unprofessional. I will never do business with them again. Amazon helped me to resolve the issue.Thanks Amazon |
