"Il Volo" is the new world of classical pop sensation. Piero Barone, Ignazio Ginobl Gianluca Boschetto participated in the Italian reality "Ti Lascia A Canzone" and fascinated the audience with their flawless performance of the song, "O Sole Mio." The trio won the contest and decided that their group needed a name. "Il Volo,"which means "The Flight." They may be young, but the mission of "Il Volo" is clear: "We want to share our love for this music with people around the world, including young people of our age." Piero, Ignacio, and Gianluca recorded the album in both Los Angeles and Rome, as well as in the famous London studio, Abbey Road by the hand of the living legend Tony Renis and Chilean multi-award winning producer, Humberto Gatica. The stellar album shows the talent of these three young singers with amazing voices and interpretive gifts as they interpret a number of classic songs with contemporary and traditional pop influences. Their debut album, "Il Volo", contains 11 songs and includes their own unique version of "O Sole Mio" and goes on sale in the U.S. and Puerto Rico June 7, 2011.

I received the CD in today's mail and have listened to it over and over this afternoon. It is every bit as good as the original version which is to say that it is spectacular. I cannot say that one is better than the other as I love both of them. These young men are our hope for the future. It is wonderful to hear teenagers who can sing !!

I purchased the Italian version of Il Volo's debut CD after I saw them on American Idol and I absolutely love it. I was intrigued by the Spanish version of the CD so I decided to purchase it also. I figured it would very similar to the Italian version of the CD except for the changed language, but there are lots of differences in the CD's. The first track on the Spanish version of Il Volo is Hasta El Final and it has to be the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Ignazio's voice soars during the chorus of this song and it is breathtaking! The arrangements are different on several of the other songs also, and I just love the romantic guitar music that isn't really on the Italian CD. I keep both of the CD's in my car and I find myself lured to the Spanish CD almost every time, and in my opinion it is better than the Italian version of Il Volo! Bravo Il Volo, Encore, Encore!

Il Volo Spanish version
Listening to these young men is always a pleasure and I enjoyed the Spanish version because I have elementary Spanish and it is such a pretty language.
