Ilford Premium Glossy 5 x 7 Inch Photo Paper 50 Sheets

The Ilford Premium Glossy Paper is perfect for the medium size album for events like weddings. The quality is good, still not the thickest paper, but good enough for professional prints. Value is good. Dries faster than most other brands with my Epson printers.

In sharing my architectural photography with potential clients, I have tried various printing methods including the camera shops. This Ilford Premium Glossy photo paper's lighter weight works perfectly with my inexpensive HP inkjet printer and produces images better in quality and truer to original color than the other methods. The heavier weight papers such as Canon's premium paper cause paper jams in my printer. The Ilford paper prints as it should without jamming the printer. Highly recommended.

I would have normally bought the HP paper since I have a HP Photosmart B8550 Inkjet Photo Printer but for some reason I couldn't find the HP paper. I'm glad I didn't because this was cheaper, and to my eye better. The colors on this paper see brighter and truer than on the HP paper. I've printed our wedding photos, wildlife, candids, black and white, and they all look good. I found this by accident, but I'll buy it again.

I have experimented with different papers on my Canon printer, and Illford paper is the only paper other than Canon paper that gives me good results with my Canon printer. In all my experiments I used the appropriate printer profiles, and yet never got satisfactory result in skin tones. Illford paper is the only one that came close to Canon paper in results, and it is slightly cheaper. So I sometimes use for printing proofs or contact sheets to lower overall cost on the way to the final photo.

I discovered Ilford photo paper some years back & I was to put it mildly Blown Away! Not Only Was This the BEST Photo paper I've ever used, it's up to 1/2 the price of Brand name photo paper. What More could one ask for in photo papers that is! I HIGHLY recommend it. I am an AVID photographer of 55 of my 62 years but rarely ever charge for my work. I shoot any & everything & I do mean everything. I absolutely was born with a camera in my blood. So I hope in my small way I may have helped some of you out there in WWW discover something useful that will save you money...of which there is not nearly enough.

I have been using Ilford papers since film was around and have always loved the color/clarity and performance of the brand. I had no idea they had an inkjet paper until now and I bought it based upon the quantity offered and price of the product. I got more for my money than the Canon papers I usually buy and have been delighted by it's beautiful color tones and incredibly clear prints. It dries immediately and has very true colors. The only thing to note, and it's not a bad thing, is that it takes about 5 minutes for the colors to completely come true and vibrant, but when it's finished coming to color, it's really beautiful! I noticed as soon as it is done printing, the colors look mudded and soft and somewhat bland. But within about 5 minutes, the colors really come true! I am very pleased with this paper and I am on my second order. I will only buy Canon paper for my canon printer if I cant get a hold of this Ilford paper anymore. You wont be disappointed! I have heard, however, that the paper has some troubles on Epson and HP printers, but it has been a true winner on my Canon printer! Thumbs up!

Used with Epson R1900 printer (have not used it on any other printer so cannot opine with respect to other printers) paper provides excellent color rendition, sharp images, no smearing (even immediately after coming out of printer), has some "backbone" in terms of thickness (is not really thin) and can be handled, as a result, well for mounting. All and all an excellent photo paper. Slightly better than Epson's best quality photo paper.

This is a good paper if you're wanting to print out photos of nature such as flowers. If you're wanting to print photos of people I would recommend you go with the pearl finish from Ilford.

I have tried a lot of different papers and in my Cannon printer this is just wonderfull, and if you are like me you want that glossy look to realy show of certain details, I am a wood carver and I love this paper for showing of the fine detail of my work. Ilford has higher priced paper that also works great but for the cost this is the best.

Great colors. I don't have a practiced eye, but I can't tell any difference between the Ilford paper and Canon's. Canon doesn't produce a 5x7 so this will be my choice for that size.
