Very poor transcription,

This transcript of the Iliad was clearly not proof read. The line breaks were ignored, so each paragraph breaks randomly, and even the line numbers, which should be at the end of the lines that they indicate, are included within the body of the text, often in mid-line. It's as if this was transcribed by an optical character recognition program without any human oversight. The Project Gutenburg version has much better formatting.
