I happened upon this band in NYC and bought a CD after seeing their show. Best CD I bought all year!

When will Carlos Ortega and his Latin Combo release their next album. I cannot speak or understand a word of Spanish but the music sticks to me all hours of the day and night. They are great musicians.

A group a talented musicians come together and BAM! you've got magic. Pull the credit card out...this is a keeper.

I bought this after wandering into a music shop in Santa Monica on a trip to LA. WOW. It's my favorite album to play on a warm summer night driving with the convertible top down. I couldn't count how many times I have listened to this Cd - it never grows old. Technically excellent, yes -but also an extraordinary collection of passionate, expressive music.

I have seen the band in concert and I own their CD ("Iliana") and can honestly say with every ounce of sincerity in my body that this is one of the most beautiful CD's-from start to finish-that I have in my collection. I cannot wait for their next album to hit stores soon! Casolando offers a refreshingly romantic CD that is a perfect partner to a bottle of wine and a warm summer night. In short: Purchase ASAP!

A fantastic album: I've seen this group live a couple of times, and the record captures the magic of their performances. Highly recommended!

I am bound to run out of adjectives before I can truly capture the essence of this recording. There is really no substitue to listening to it. Soft or loud, alone or in the company of friends, working or just relaxing. If you are looking for something that will inevitably bring a smile to your face everytime, this is it! I had the great fortune of meeting Carlos Ortega and Charlie Baran when Casolando came to Cincinnati. They were incredibly nice and so willing to talk about their music and influences. Even if you don't speak a word of Spanish, the message will come through loud and clear. Your heart and body will understand.

I LOVE THIS CD! Super romantic. It is definite mood music. Perfect for long drives, while cooking dinner or even background music while camping. I have had this cd for over a year and I'm not sick of it now and I don't think I ever will be. It's a timeless selection of music. BUY IT!

Every once in a while I buy a CD that I have to listen to over and over. This is one of those. Its a beautiful recording.
