The Chuck Wagon Gang have the purest sound while maintaining an upbeat tempo of any old time Gospell group you will ever hear {the originals, any thing with Rose and Anna}. I heard a LP I found in A library IN 1974 and have been a fan ever since. Great to have them remastered an on CDs. Just sit back to some of the best music ever recorded.

The music on "I'll Fly Away" is from the original CWG. This listener recently reviewed "Mighty Close to Heaven" by a more recent configuration of the group. Both albums are excellent but here on IFA, the sound is mellower and the men have more of a vocal role than do the women. There is a tad less toe tapping. Favorite tracks are subjective but this listener liked the upbeat title track and especially the melodious "Heaven Will Surely Be Worth It All". The only weak point lies not with the CD but the inability to sample tunes. The facility to do so by clicking on a Windows Media or Music Sampler icon would be a welcome. IFA does include a very informative jacket insert encompassing the group's history. As with the R&R group the Drifters, it seems to matter not if the faces change. "Old" Chuck Wagon Gang or not, the music just rolls on through the years.

Delighted with product and the usual fast shipping. Loved the CD and will order again soon. Overall quality is excellent and I will continue ordering items such as this one.

I purchased this for my mother who has Alzheimer's. Music from their younger years can help trigger memories for them so I purchased this in hopes it would help with that...it did. We play it daily and I get as much enjoyment out of it as she does.
