One of Bon Jovi's best ballads,

Bon Jovi has some of the best hair band ballads, and this song is certainly no exception. Jon Bon Jovi is cute, if you like that kind of guy, and he has the kind of rough sexy voice a woman wants to hear crooning into her ear. My favorite part of this song, for some reason, has always been the part where he sings, "Didn't mean to miss your birthday, baby, I wish I'd seen you blow those candles out..." When I met my boyfriend, this song came on, and when I told him about it, he made sure he was in town for my birthday party. It's been extra special since then. This is a very sad song, but for some reason you feel hopeful when it's over.
