I'll Be There : Widescreen Edition
It was good the first time I saw it long ago, But after seeing it again, I seem to come back to it over and over. Craig Ferguson is always a kick to watch and I wish he had made more movies. Charlotte Church also pulls her weight here. She is a real beauty with a voice to match. There is a nice Welsh/Scottish feel to the movie and it leaves you feeling upbeat. It is a comedy about a famous rock star that discovers he has a daughter he was never told about and her mother who believes that he just blew her off- not knowing that he had lost her and then dedicated an album to her. Lead by Ferguson, the rest of the cast all contribute great comedic chops. It is not a blockbuster, more like comfort food. I think you will enjoy! |
