Fun collection of ragtime and folk music, December 22, 2011

From the few items I've found in recent years of early recorded music, this is an interesting collection of various folk and ragtime tunes. Included are multiple African-American rags, stomps, etc. that take you back to a time of lively, up-tempo, and entertaining music. I'm likely too young to recognize many of the songs included ("Won't You Come Home Bill Bailey?" is the one that sounds familiar) - But hey, discovering new music is part of the fun in listening to such historical pieces.
AUDIO SNOBS BEWARE: The recordings here are full of hisses and scratches. Yet for me, it adds to the character of the music, making it that much more enjoyable.
