4.0 out of 5 stars I'll Find You : A Novel of Suspense
This was a fun book... I normally don't read suspense but my 11 yr old daughter said it was great. It's a clean book with no objectionable language... there is intrigue, antagonism, humor, sadness and much emotion. It may be considered "unsophisticated" by some but it's a very good story which makes for a good read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Grrrr
I have enjoyed Clair Poulson's suspense novels in the past. The story line in this one was no different - I liked it. What bugged me and the reason I am rating it so poorly is the character Warren. The guy is a jerk, controlling and shows signs that he could become abusive. Yet Jeri excuses him because he had 'reason'. Given that she does not love him and doesn't end up...

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic story- more realistic than earlier reviews claim, July 13, 2003

I'll Find You is a great book with a very good storyline. As far as the plot not being probable or possible, Mr. Poulson has been involved in police work for a number of years, so I trust that he knows first hand what he is writing about and that situations like the one described in the book can and do happen. Besides, even if it is a little far-fetched (which it is NOT when you compare it to many of the things we watch in movies and on TV nowadays), it still is an intense and excellent story. I give each and every one of Mr. Poulson's novels the highest recommendation!

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't put it down!, March 19, 2011

This was a surprise book for me. I thought "I'll Find You" was a sinister title - but instead it was a loving and devoted title, albeit some sinister happenings also occurred. The characters seemed true to life, the plot was certainly realistic, and the inner message was great! If you believe in second chances, this is your book!

2.0 out of 5 stars Grrrr, July 27, 2010
This review is from: I'll Find You: A Novel of Suspense (Paperback)
I have enjoyed Clair Poulson's suspense novels in the past. The story line in this one was no different - I liked it. What bugged me and the reason I am rating it so poorly is the character Warren. The guy is a jerk, controlling and shows signs that he could become abusive. Yet Jeri excuses him because he had 'reason'. Given that she does not love him and doesn't end up with him but part of the solution to the story is that he winds up with her best friend. It bothers me to no end that he is presented as a 'good catch'. The issue of domestic abuse is serious and girls should be taught to recognize potential signs and not be encourage to rationalize it to acceptance. Although I truly enjoyed the book, this issue is so egregious the rating goes from 5 stars to 2.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'll Find You by Clair Poulson, July 4, 2009
This review is from: I'll Find You: A Novel of Suspense (Paperback)
I loved this book! Sometimes our lives get all mixed up and we wonder why we make certain choices. Then we find that our choices have led us to a place we never could have found consciously. Jeri Satch's life is like that. A promise made as a young girl becomes pivotal in her future decisions and finally gives her the joy we all seek. I found this book to be full of hope and a positive light in the world of fiction.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!!, February 27, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: I'll Find You: A Novel of Suspense (Paperback)
This was the first book I had ever read by Clair Poulson, and I recomend it to anyone. It is such a touching story, but don't get me wrong, it isn't a 'dumb' story. From the begining to the end I was mesmerized. My friends and I all read it, and we all agree, this is the best of Clair's books. Filled with intruge, terror, and ...I won't say. Dont want to ruin it. But believe me, anyone will love it.

1.0 out of 5 stars just plain cheesy, December 9, 2008

This review is from: I'll Find You: A Novel of Suspense (Paperback)
I got this book at a book swap and later saw that the first 75 pages were missing. I read it anyway and found that I missed nothing at all. The writing is very amateurish with the characters doing lots of cheesy self-reflection. The end is nothing but LDS (mormon) propaganda. The main character is torn between her LDS standards and the man she loves. Lo and behold he turns to the mormon faith and all is well. Puh-leeze! This might be an okay read for a teenager, but for an adult it's pathetic and laughable.

This was a livey story. Full of supence from the begining to the end. What I didn't like about it was the main girl Jeri was portraied as a sheepish little cry baby. When she should of been strong and gutsy. Kathy
