If you're a pilot, you'll enjoy hours of reading pleasure that take you from barnstorming to jumbojets. If you are intimately acquainted with a pilot, this book would make a fabulous gift.

Very interesting history - especially his personal experiences during WWII and how he came to be a world-class pilot of jumbo jets from crop-dusting!

Excellent autobiography of a man who has piloted planes from pre-WWII to the first decade of the new millennium. Interesting highlights of WWII history, aviation transitions in the 40s and 50s, the development of the air industry in Afghanistan during the 60s, and the luxury of US flight with Pan Am in the 60s and 70s. Recounts his recreation of Lindbergh's cross-country flight which he flew for the benefit of the humanitarian organization ORBIS. Aside from flying, this gentleman also does pulpit supply in his home state.

I really enjoyed this book. The history and life story of a man who has done it all. I was able to meet with him and his wife. What wonderful people!
