This has been one of our family favorites for almost twenty-five years. It is sitting on the shelf with the rest of the classics as we build a library for our grand daughter to enjoy. Not only are the illustrations delightful but the story hits a familiar tone in everyones heart. I am happy to see that it is available again for another generation of smiles.

This book has been around since I was a little girl. I bought it as a gift for my older sister - for sentimental reasons. This book used to be called "Smile For Auntie" but the title has been changed...why? I don't have a clue. But the inside is the same as it always has been. Large great vibrant illustrations with adorable and whimsical characters and expressions. Auntie wants a smile from the baby and will go to any lengths to get one, but baby is just not willing to crack a smile for her, until she professes that she will just GO AWAY AND NOT COME BACK, then...and only then...does baby smile. Its adorable. This book arrived in pristine condition. Brand new with no marks. Every age group will LOVE this story. It's a super easy read with only one sentence per page, but every adult I have shown it to just laughs and falls in love with it.

I remembered this book fondly as a child and now LOVE reading it to my daughter even more. I think every parent should have this book for their child. Such a funny little story, my favorite!

This was my absolute favorite book as a child, so when I saw that it was republished (under a different name, but same story), I just had to buy it for my daughter.... she loves it and I love reading it to her.
