White Zinfandel
on a sweet autumn night
I remember it well
just you, and the moon
and some white zinfandel
with a reason for loving
just moments away
I discovered your lips
when you met me halfway..
now, I always give credit
where credit is due
and the smells of September
are perfumed with you
and the light from your soul
shining out through your eyes
forms the blueprint of heavenly
stars in the skies..
there are moments in life
when we pause to review
all the lives we have touched
and the loves that we knew
and on sweet autumn nights
I remember them well
just you, and the moon
and..
some white zinfandel...
