About the Author

The authors, Liz and Lisa, have been friends for twenty years since the day Lisa walked into Freshman English class wearing red eyeglasses that made her look like Sally Jessie Rafael s younger, more stylish sister. They both attended Cal Poly Pomona University and each graduated with a degree in Communication. Liz resides in Long Beach, Ca and Lisa in Chicago, Il.  They just released their second novel, The D Word.

This book is awesome! I'm not normally a chic-lit fan, but a friend of mine recommended the book and I decided to give it a try. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! There are few books that actually make me laugh out loud, but this achieved it several times! Once I started, I couldn't put it down and found myself identifying with many of the leading ladies. If you're looking for a quick, light hearted, feel good book..this is it! A great beach read for any woman or mom!

I really loved this book and found I did not want to put it down!!! The characters are great and I feel like Kelly and Kate are friends I've had for years. There were lots of laugh out loud moments too:-)

Wow!!! What a great book. The main characters keep you laughing and crying with them through out. I'm sure most women can relate to at least one of the characters in this book because I know I did. I love that you get to see the point of view from each character about what has taken place. It's not a one sided story as most things in life are not. This is a must read book. If you are offended by foul language and sexual situations please don't read. Though I say you are missing out if you don't. :)
