He's back and just in time for Christmas!,
This review is from: I'll Be Home for Christmas (Audio CD)
I love McKnight from "One Last Cry" on, but I confess I wasn't that enthused about his first Christmas CD. "I'll be Home for Christmas" is great and some of his best work so far.
"Christmas You and Me" is a duet with Vince Gill. Their voices blend together in an amazing duet. Very impressive. "Who would have Thought" is a very soft tribute to falling in love on Christmas Day. You might be able to play this one and get someone to fall in love all over again. He also does a lot of what we'd expect. "Angels, we have heard on High" is exceptional. So's his "Silver Bells." Overall, this is a very listenable, soulful Christmas CD. Rebecca Kyle, November 2008

Gratest Holiday Album Ever!,
By
This review is from: I'll Be Home for Christmas (Audio CD)
I've been a Brian McKnight fan since I was a teenager, and I would have to say that this is his best holiday album yet! My favorite song on the album is Angels We Have Heard on High: with Josh Groban. It seems like everytime he goes into the studio he goes in as himself, and he always leaves his fans wondering, "What Next!"

Beautiful Christmas CD From Beginning to End,

This review is from: I'll Be Home for Christmas (Audio CD)
Although I love Brian McKnight's voice, I was less than impressed with his first Christmas CD, so I hesitated to purchase his newest release. I shouldn't have waited -- it is everything I hoped it would be -- a winner from beginning to end. Backed by his solid band, the CD is consistent in quality and his voice has never sounded better. His duet with Josh Groban simply soars with both voices magically intertwining in a simply beautiful merger. You've got to have substantial chops to keep up with Groban, and McKnight does. His duet with Vince Gill is another highlight of the CD along with his collaboration with Take 6. There isn't a clunker in the bunch -- this is a CD that I will play again and again.
