More About the Author

Shannon O'Neil is a native of St. Augustine, Florida, but her Southern roots run deep in the kudzu and clay of Lower Alabama. A proud Florida State University alumnus, Shannon is also the author of I'll Be Home for Peacemas and A Complicated Christmas, both available on Amazon. She currently resides in St. Augustine with her favorite beach companion, Bucky, and draws inspiration from the cobblestone paths, sandy shores, and literary history of the Nation's Oldest City.

"I'll Be Home For Peacemas," the debut novel by Shannon O'Neil, has something to please every ardent fiction lover - a dysfunctional family, a former flame, dark pasts, and a beautiful location backdrop in the Nation's Oldest City of St. Augustine, Florida. It's a hilarious, fast-moving, wonderful break from the usual Christmas fare and highly recommended for those cool (or, perhaps here in Florida, mild) winter nights.

This book is very well written. The characters all seem familiar in one sense or another and I found myself just hoping that they would all get their happily ever after. I laughed and cried and recognized some of my favorite local haunts. I can't wait to find out what happens to this wacky family in the future! I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read. Great job Shannon on your first book!

This is such a well written story, it's hard to believe that this is O'Neil's first book! The characters are well developed and all are memorable - you may even recognize some of your wacky family members! A book that makes me laugh out loud and shed a few tears is always a great book to share with others. O'Neil's writing style is fun and fast-paced. I hope there is a sequel because I am ready to read more about Bailey and her family! Get your copy today - you won't be sorry!
