A Great Story,

An intriguing story of a gaseous alien life form, that becomes trapped on Earth and survives by inhabiting the corpse of a recently deceased gangster. The alien then makes his way from New York to London, and befriends the deceased man's family. Sounds similar to the film "Starman," and it is to a certain extent, but this book is much more intelligent. It skillfully combines science fiction, gangster elements, and cold war spy activity, without making the book feel rushed or overcomplicated. It is a fun little book that grabs the essence of the 1960's and tells a charming and sentimental tale. For the right price, you will definitely want to snatch this one up.
