5.0 out of 5 stars The World of Igor Kio, January 9, 2010

This review is from: Illiuzii bez illiuzii (Moi 20. vek) (Hardcover)
Pleasure and an honor to write the very 1st review for this book.

Igor Kio is a member of a prominent illusionst family "The Kio's". I have known him mostly from TV programms in the 80's, when I was still a child. He always hit me as mysterious but very kind man.

This book is not about the tricks though...although wait! It is about the tricks, but the tricks of life rather than the circus tricks. Kio writes about his life, his family and his hobbies, his loves, and the people he worked with and thanks to whom he became a success. Its an interesting and fun book, and although in Russian and for a Russian reader carries much about the world and sort of takes one back in time to the days, when the young Kio was still an apprentice illusionist to his own dad - the illustrous Emil Kio.
