The third volume of Illusive sports a bluish green fabric cover. which turns blue when the cover is tilted away. I like the colour part, but hate the fabric part because it collects dust easily. The pages are high quality art matte paper.

Illusive is a top notch contemporary art series and volume 3 maintains that standard. Majority of the illustrations are created with traditional medium. There are over 200 artists featured from all over the world and the quality is really high.

My favourite section is the one on tactile illustrations. It features a lot of really cool paper art. Think fine art and graphic design created using paper, not ON paper. The paper graphics of Yulia Brodskaya are really creative and beautiful.

The other section which I like is the pen and ink chapter. There are some really intricate line art and amazing technical prowess going on there.

The layout of the book is nice. There are some interviews and at the back is the index with the artists' websites.

Illusive is an inspirational contemporary art series. Recommended to illustrators and graphic designers.

This book is totally worth buying especially for how much cheaper it is on Amazon than it is in stores. I've been looking at this book for quite some time before i bought it at the local barnes and nobles. One day i decided to buy it and coughed up $75 bucks for this bad boy. This book is definitely worth $75 bucks, dont get me wrong, there's a lot of beautiful illustrations inside. Once i got home, i logged onto Amazon only to see that they had it for almost 40 bucks less! So i did what anybody else wouldve done, i returned the book the following day and placed an order on Amazon. If you've been thinking of getting this book, YOU SHOULD GET IT.

Have been eagerly looking forward to the release of this book as I am a huge fan of the other Illusive books. I can only reiterate what the others say above: it doesn't disappoint. From the thick matte pages to the beautiful sea-green cover, staggering talent demonstrated by its over 200 illustrators, interviews with design agencies and more, the book is a joy to behold.

I love this book. It has a number of illustrations in color to see what artists and professionals are doing in the field. I would recommend also if you are hunting for ideas or to get out of the trendy box. Please think independently.

Many of the illustrations are a bit too similar in style and exhibit a very edgy, contemporary style. I would have given this book a higher rating if there would have been greater diversity in the content samples.

Well, i love illustration, and this book is the perfect book for designers, who are always looking for new languages and ideas!!! I won't ever regret by purchasing it!! It is the best birthday gift I received!!!
