1.0 out of 5 stars limited use, February 16, 2008
This review is from: Illustrated 2003 Building Code Handbook (Hardcover)
While it is always difficult to criticise, I found this book to be useless. It is essentially a rephrasing of some sections of the code it claims to "illustrate". Although there are drawings, they are oversimplified and do not covey and deeper understanding of the intent of the code, in the way some of the NFPA code handbooks do for that code.
A much better book that illuminate and enlightens readers on the intent of the IBC and does it with good accompanying graphics is Frank Ching's book.
