This book is an excellent resource for photographers at all skill levels. Comprehensive, easy to understand, and richly illustrated, this photographic dictionary is a must-own for all photographers.

Being an avid history buff, I really enjoyed the section on influential photographers over the past two centuries and how they impacted the profession.

Great reference guide overflowing with terminology, definitions and illustrations about anything related to photography. Interesting to page through or as a complement to any photography book. No photographer's library would be complete without this book.

Great Idea for a book! This is a wonderful resource to help photographers communicate on a professional level as well as further their understanding.

If you never heard of Google, can't operate a computer, don't do digital photography, or can't type, then this is the book for you. If all you require is an ultra brief description of a term and only a nodding acquaintance with that term then here it is. If you are desirous however of greater in depth knowledge then save your money and avail yourself of one of the many computer search engines with split second access. I thought that perhaps this might be appropriate for a secretary in a photo studio and it is quite possible that this is what they had in mind when the authors created this compilation. On the other hand, it may be a great reference tool for playing photographic jeopardy on rainy days with other photographers.
