An absolute must for anyone who works professionally in creating America's symbol! As a sculptor of numerous public art life-size or larger pieces in bronze, this is the "new standard for reference". A very comprehensive reference book on the eagle. Skeletal structure is illustrated and upper and lower details of each wing is provided in excellent detail. Color information is also provided. An excellent reference for woodcarving, painting and similar uses.

Anyone who wants to know anything about the bald eagle can find it in this book. This is the book to acquire the ins and outs of the bird. It is a carvers ultimate reference guide and you should have no need for another. That says it all.

I was looking for a good reference book on eagles and I found it with this one. I plan on purchasing the other bird reference books written by this same author too after seeing the detail in this one.
